Healing ..
Something you see everyone everywhere talking about. Rather it childhood traumas , relationship scars , mental illness. We all have something we are trying to heal from. But what does that actually mean ? What are the steps to do such ? Most of this falls under the umbrella term " Shadow Work ". This is term you will most likely hear a lot within the spiritual community, but it is not limited to just those on that journey . Shadow work is something that everyone from all walks of life should be doing . Generally speaking shadow work is using different tools to go into ones self . To dissect and remove layers of yourself to get to the root cause of your issues . Figure out why you continue to live in survival mode , even once you have already over came the reason for you going there in the first place . People tend to get stuck in " thats just the way I am " . But why wouldnt you want to know why ? Wouldnt you rather operate from a space of peace and understanding rather than fear ? Well one might ask , what are these so called tools ? Meditation is the most common . You can meditate in many different ways , as well as incorporating other tools . Such as music , crystals , smells , etc . Writing and/or journaling is also another really useful tool . Painting and be used as an tool . Believe it or not even therapy can be tool , if for giving you other useful tools if nothing else . Everyone is different , therefor everyone will do their " Shadow work " differently . No one can really tell how to do it or what will actually work for you . That is something you will have to figure out on your own . One might be able to tell you what worked for them and you could most definitely try it as well , or even tweak it a little to be better fitting for you . But they can not tell you what to do . So go out and try it , you might just find out it is the hardest most liberating thing you could have ever done . Freeing yourself from the chains you didnt even realized you lived within ..........
