woodworking redemption ark -- now need 2 take on botany

As per my last blog post, I really did think I was going to drop woodworking BUT it seems to be okay so I am sticking with it. my real problem now is I'm in a sculpture nature class where I want to grow things and the teacher is not going to tell us how. I understand not wanting to go outside your practice but........this feels personal. It's okay though because I will just teach myself botany! nothing will go wrong! I bet this is how Matt Damon felt in the 2015 Sci-fi/Drama "The Martian".
