How do you feel about modern day cringe?

     Thought I'd blog about this since in recent years, previous "cringy" trends end up being the hot thing now. I'm not very young nor am I very old, but I experienced enough that the things I liked were considered "abnormal."

     You grow up liking anime, you'll get smacked for it- but there is the odd ones within the crowd of hating anime that will ALWAYS have the "except Dragonball." Not to drag the nicer fans of course, but I've met those hypocritical crowds who will always have an exception and just look for an excuse to boost their fragile ego.

     Nowadays, almost everyone likes or knows anime! At one side, it is totally great- but at another side, there are new audiences consuming content that arguably was never appropriate in the first place. I had a friend of mine discuss "anime goggles" that some stuff is simply a cultural difference to other crowds, so many things that would make other audiences uncomfortable or skeptical are normal to others.

     As much as I hate to say it, I do have those goggles but it is always nice to see people argue that some things simply either shouldn't be a trend at all or should constantly be reminded that it is fiction and individuals are responsible on how they are influenced by it.
