oh my god as an autistic with domo as their special interest i am so happy to explain all of domo-kuns lore :D
OKAY SO DOMO, aka Domo-kun had his first appearance in these TV shorts in 1998 on the 10th anniversary of NHK's satellite broadcast. (which the name domo was adopted during the second episode !!! ) Domo is shown to never say anything other than his own name throughout the shorts and in the mangas! He has various friends that are shown in both the manga and the shorts. Domo lives with Mr. Usaji which is an old rabbit, and they are also roommates with two bats which are mother and son. Domo speaks in a low tone that only his friends understand, so all his friends understand him!! :D !!! Domo is very happy, naive, innocent and he's curious about everything ever, he struggles with understanding certain things but never has any bad intentions. Domo is a brown fuzzy monster, black eyes and his big ol mouth with his sharp teeth! He is 3ft 11inches tall and weighs 190lbs. His favorite food is nikujaga ! (Japanese stew of meat n potatoes) and he hates apples !!!!! He loves rock & roll music and he loves watching tv :D Aside from being in the animated shorts, there was also a TV show, *Domo TV*, a television series produced by Nickelodeon and NHK in 2008. There was also a series of 7-11 commercials with domo in it, and domo comics n such were sold at 7-11 !! The brand Tokyopop released a manga named *Domo: the Manga* which was sold in the us and canada!! He also appears in Domo-Kun No Fushigi Terebi (2002) for Game Boy Advance and the Facebook social game Planet Domo (2011). There is FIVE domo games for the dsi (Crash-Course Domo, Hard-Hat Domo, Rock-n-Roll Domo, Pro-Putt Domo and White-Water Domo.)
