Forcing us to be straight
I'm so sick of homophobes.
They say, 'just be straight, it's not that difficult. ' like are you serious? That's just like if somebody was trying to force you to be gay. How would you like that? I don't hate straight people. It's the straight people that look down apon the LGBTQIA+ community just because of who they love. It's not our fault that we like the same sex. It's not our fault that we are uncomfortable in our own bodies.
Someone yesterday told me that I was just a stupid confused Gen Z kid because I wanted to be called he/they.
Think about it for one goddamn minute.
Trans people, and gay people, have existed for literally centuries. In fact, the first recorded homosexual was in fucking 2400 BCE. I'm not some confused kid. I know who I am. And I know who I love. Okay? Stop trying to force me to be straight. It's not cool, you just sound really dumb. If you don't like the gay community, literally just.. Leave us alone???
Religion
I understand if you can't support the gay community based on your religion. I really do. If you're a Muslim, and cannot support, there is NOTHING wrong with that. Unless you actively hate on us because of who we like, I don't really care if you can't be a part of it, or support it. I'm never going to force you to support, as long as you don't hate us for absolutely no reason.
Christianity is another story.
My grandmother is a very heavy christian. Me, and my cousin (who lives with my grandmother) are both gay. My grandmother thinks NOTHING of it. Because in the bible, it literally says that God will accept and love EVERYONE. EVERYONE. so why are SOME Christians homophobic, racist, sexist, and so on? If you want to believe in god, that is your choice. And I support you. But why do you have to hate on someone because they don't have the same mind as you?
Sometimes I even thought that I might be christian, but I realized the amount of hate that comes from the community. It's not every one, it's just the people who want to make the world perfect.
But let me tell you this-
The world will never be perfect. So please.
PLEASE.
Stop hating on people that you know nothing about. Besides who they like, they could be an amazing, talented, and creative person. You would never even know. because all you care about is their sexuality. I've lost so many friends from just being gay, that it's disappointing.
This world could be so much better.. Just accept that people are going to be people and let them do what they want.

Religion is a concept that people invented to answer questions they can't. ("why do we exist?")
Of course, the opinions of those who helped creating the religion was projected into the bible, koran and other holy scripts. God, if God exists, loves everyone, gays, trans, straights. Don't use religion as an argument to hate a group of humans. Live in peace with everyone. Respect everyone. Love everyone. That's what WE want and that's what God would want.

As a catholic, a branch of Christianity, I can full heartedly agree with you. In the Bible, to be more specific, Mathew 7:12, it tells everyone to treat others as you want to be treated, just like what you say. People are homophobic for many different reasons that contradict the way a Christian should think and act. I think, just like cultural stereotypes, people marginalize people in the lgbtqia+ after a couple encounters with them or how people portray them to be online; they, of course, haven't spent the time understanding why people are gay, lesbian etc. Of course, there is some bad in every community, I'm also saying that not everyone is mean in that community or in this one, I'm saying that some or more people make that specific community, in your case, the lgbtqia+ community hated. In some cases, people just hate the ideologies of different groups, not the specific people, but just forget to say that they dislike this and not who's in it.

I agree, I hate people who try to use religion as an excuse to hate on ANYONE, but especially when they try to do it to LGBTQ+ people. all that homophobic stuff was already there in their culture and beliefs before, and their just trying to use religion to justify it, weather consciously or unconsciously. It needs to stop.

Agreeeeed, as a obvious Christian, hating on literally anyone is so wrong in God's eyes, regardless of their sexual orientation and whatnot. Like I've seen so many ppl try to shove Scripture and whatnot down ppls throats and full on say "you should convert right now because that's a sin!" Or whatever..like I think it would be better to literally just ease into talking about God w/ someone instead of being so blunt about it..like goodness me, I was at the church service w/ other teens and the dude who was talking was like 17 and he said "ppl say they're believers of God but they don't act like it. (kinda forget what he said here) and one of the mains reasons why ppl are atheists/don't follow Jesus is because of Christians shoving everything down their throats."
Like he's lowkey right, I think that if you wanna talk abt Jesus then like I said, ease into it and be gentle in a sense. Give them a testimony and some other examples, ask them their thoughts, pray for them and then let them decide what they wanna do.
And yeah, talking abt Jesus is very important but ultimately, if you claim to be a follower of Christ then showing it through your actions and especially your words is most important. Like my goodness, God did call Christians to spread his Word but not with such hate, y'know? Yeah its very good if you're passionate about Him, but God is love. Not hate. Therefore speaking with love and not hate is how ppl should be preaching. I've met a bunch of gentle preachers as well as not so nice ones and when I listened to the mean ppl, it was like preaching was a chore for them. And that lowkey made me sad but oh well, if that's what they're gonna do then they'll have to deal with whatever karma comes to them bc that's for sure not how its supposed to be done. Literally just giving God a bad reputation.

As a religious person who is also apart of the LGBTQIA+ Community , I Agree. God doesn't hate any of us, he accepts us all. If we are transgender , he accepts us. If we are gay or lesbian , he accepts us. Why? Because he loves and accepts all.
But I genuinely hate it when christians hate on those who are apart of the LGBTQ community. I get it , you want to support your religion , but hating on those who are gay doesn't make you a better person. How would you like it if we forced you to be gay and disowned you because you were religious? We aren't doing anything wrong to do these so called "Christians". We'll support you as long as you support us. I'm not very very religious , but I do believe in and support god. And I know that he doesn't hate anyone who is apart of the LGBTQ community.
And also , if these 13 year old "sigma" males keep saying "God will send you to hell if you're apart of LGBTQ" , they are just making a fool out of themselves. That isn't true. God is meant to support us and accept us no matter what.
