I began this post with some frustration but i've truly been changed.
So, I'm sitting in this class about The Universe- which is entirely too vast and too old and right now- too complicated for me to fully grasp or even think about (besides the point). I originally wanted to be put in a class called environmental archives- more in my wheelhouse considering I dont really deal in/with the cosmos in like- any of my work despite my afrofuturism. I dont know- I've just always been an "and whitey's on the moon" typa girl. So sometimes I just can't get behind all that spacey shit. I can feel my opinions shifting a bit. we'll see.
ANYWAY
I just listened to my professor present in full detail (with pictures!) what it was like to go look for meteorites in Antarctica and I. am. fascinated.
very excited to continue learning.
ALSO: most meteorites fall in the ocean (obviously)
which just makes the ocean even more freaky
who else is scared.
