so a while ago i was rlly invested in trying to leanr like. japanese and a lil portuguese, but i got rlly unmotivated after a few months. its so frustrating because i really do have an interest in learnign more languages because i think its really neat how different they all obviously are. like how some languages or regions of the world will more often use x sounds or parts of your mouth while another language/region will have no idea or inteoduction (?) to that in their language. i think im just a foreign language nerd.
i was wondering if anyone had any good sources for learning japanese, arabic, or portuguese, because all ive been usin gis duolingo which is pretty standard, but i want more, yk?

duolingo is pretty shit. there are YT resources for japanese grammar and you can get PDFs of textbooks for Japanese beginners. I find that learning vocab in topics I am interested in (history, fashion, literature) is more engaging for me.
i remember a while ago i tried finding textbooks and stuff, and i think finding time in my day to dedicate to that would help me immensely lol. but i havent considered learning vocab of topics that actually interest me, even tho now that makes complete goddamn sense T-T
