Voice Insecurity

(I'm a boy with a hella high pitched voice) 

I had my first call with an online friend I've been friends with since the beginning of March this year, and she said my voice sounded like "a hot mommy with a deep voice" and I'm not sure if I should take this as a compliment??

My voice is one of my biggest insecurities (she doesn't know that) and I hate it being perceived as feminine. But then again, she did call me "hot", so I'm really confused here. I was indeed straining my voice to make it sound deeper, but I don't think it worked in the way I intended XD
