I'm a gay male and I don't really care if somebody likes to read yaoi. It's really weird and disgusts me personally, but as long as they're not sexualizing actual gay men, there isn't any issue.

The genre you are reading, Yaoi (or Boys Love), Is basically a straight ship in disguise, It is usually a feminine petite cute guy and a masculine rough mean guy, that is the plot of every (Usually a women author) straight shitty romance I have ever read, the only difference is that there's two guys instead of one. so it makes sense that you say YAOI is better than real gay men because you're not even reading shit about real gay men
