the /hj or half joking tone indicator confuses me, cus like, I get that its "half joking" but wtf does THAT mean? is it that one part of the sentence is a joke and the other is not? what about if there's 2 or more sentences in a message? or is the whole sentence / message a "half joke"? wtf is a half joke? it just infuriates me because as a socially inept individual who does not understand tone thru text (prolly a sign of something, but eh) I think it defeats the entire purpose of tone indicators.
and since nobody is doing SHIT about this I am taking matters into my own hands and introducing you to "bracket grammar." which makes finding out which part of a sentence is some tone WAY easier. how does bracket grammar work? hard to explain, so I'll just show you an example.
example: "(don't ever send me these kinds of memes again /j) because I really dont understand them."
example TWO: "(please come over /srs), my place is trashed (beyond repair /j) and (looks like it was ransacked /nav)"
see how that just makes it WAY cleaner? (I feel like this is a sales pitch.)
yea you can clearly tell I spent way too much time studying math today both by the brackets and by how incoherent this post probably is. bye
