How to hide the New Users page (and more!)

Selamat pagii.. recently there's been an influx of upsetting new members (gore, NSFW, bigotry, etc.), and the main issue is that it shows up right on your front screen.. ~(>_<。)＼

A lot of people surrendered and will only open their Bulletins and Blog tab, but that's not productive at all!! You should be able to browse safely!! So, for browser users, I have a solution! It's actually really easy, so, here's how you can do it! （￣︶￣）↗　It should only take you a few minutes.

This is for PC only at the moment! If any mobile users have solutions, let me know!

Let's stay strong together ..

  a. There are a lot of these extensions out there (look up element hider/ad blocker).. but, for this demonstration, I'm going to use AdBlock since it's the most common and customizable one, and is available for a lot of browsers. ψ(｀∇´)ψ This tutorial will also work for uBlock Origin!

You can do that here or wherever you usually get your extensions!

   b. Once you download the extension, it should appear in the corner of your screen!

Let's move on ..

  a. If you installed it, a webpage might pop up with information/tutorial, etc. You can look if you want, but it's not necessary! So don't worry! Now.. lets use it! You can just click the icon, and it will activate. Click Hide something on this page to get to the element hiding screen!

  b. Once you do that, the AdBlock Hiding Wizard will appear on your screen. They call it that because it can zap all your enemies to dust.. φ(*￣0￣) When you wave your cursor over things, there will be a blue selection over it, so you can choose what to block! From this point, you can block whatever you wish.

  a. Sometimes, you can delete more windows than you wanted to.. when that happens, open the extension again, and there will be a new button that lets you undo your blocked items!

  b. To avoid this next time, I had the best results clicking the New Users panel first, and then adjusting the slider until I couldn't see the new profiles anymore. This should work for you, but, adjust to your desire!

That's all!! The blocks you put in place will stay there, even if you refresh, until you remove them. I'm sorry to bring a blog like this with such bad circumstances, but I hope it can help people out!
