omg i have friend group drama i need to talk abt

okay so im gonna use fake names for this cuz idk if any of the ppl involved have spacehey but for background this invovles two friend groups 

• my friend group

 and

• my girlfriend's friend group

so this all starts in my gfs friend group and most of us (except for one person) hate this girl gwen (not her real name obvi) because she bodyshames, admitted to falsely accusing a guy of sa, and made fun of someone's eating disorder. so everyine basically didn't talk to her becuz she's a dick

but this one dude ethan in my gf's friend group (also a fake name btw) decided to invite her to his birthday party that we all went to and he said "she invited herself" but then she spent the night at his house and they became besties or something even tho she's like a horrible person but whatever maybe she's changed

except ethan was like my gf's best friend so she like asked him with help for something and apparently him and gwen were on call when she texted him cuz all of a sudden out of nowhere gwen texts my girlfriend calling her a slut and a whore so me and my gf texted ethan and were like hey what the fuck dude

and ethan was like "oh ig she just saw it while i was sharing my screen lol" like what um okay and the same day ethan posted a bunch of tiktoks with gwen sayign they were besties and shit like that

then after that we were like okay whatever we shouldn't hold grudges and lets just ignore them but then in a discord server both me and ethan are mods in you'll never guess who he invited 

and the thing is too that gwen made an entire fake account with the name delio (that was the acc fake name the account had like that's nto even a name) and they even tried to say they used pup/pupselfs pronouns thinking it was funny even tho it's just weird to make jokes like that like she has only ever used she/her and ethan really tried to be like omg thats not her thats a totally random person even though HER PROFILE PICTURE WAS THIER FACE

but anyways my gf told her actual best friend beth abt it and she was like omg thats so effed up and i started becoming friends with beth and someone left the discord group chat my friend group has and so i was liek oh we should add beth to it but then beth said smth abt it in my gf's friend group's gc and ethan started getting pissed being like 'i've known yall for longer but she gets to be in your group chat okay" when we were still pissed off at him

but anyways now this month there was a football game and beth went to it and saw ethan there and all of sudden ethan hates gwen just because she got mad at him for ignoring her and he started going off in the group chat being like "omg gwen treats me so poorly i'm done being friends with her" and everyone was like we all hated her anyways but like sorry that happened to you and i said "can i remove her from the discord server now" cuz i was in a bad mood wehn it all happened so i was kinda being petty and he was like "yeah you can" so he admitted it was her 

but now yesterday she gave him a note saying 

"Dear Ethan, 

im sorry if i ever made you feel bad about yourself your beautiful they way u are But you hurt me last friday But i Dont wanna be on Bad terms . we Dont have to talk But i Just Dont wanna be on Bad terms

(i typed out the letter bad puncuation and all and i also added the fake names)

and he didn't say if he was gonna become friends with her again or not but he did say he wrote a long letter back to her and then he changed the subject so i honestly am so confused  and i want to cut him off but it's not even rlly my friend group im just in their group chat cuz my girlfriend is there and their the type of people who hate confrontation but i just don't knwo what to do rlly
