I saw someone's dog laying dead in the middle of the road as I drove down my road leaving the house an hour or so ago :(

It didn't look horribly injured, but it was definitely dead. In my rear view mirror as I drove away, I saw a man walk out of the house, look at the road, put his hands on his head in distress and walked back inside.

It was pretty sad, but when I came back at least they were able to get the dog out of the road and cleaned up.
