trip hop for rainy days and early nights

this summer has (luckily) been really mild up here and it seems summer is already about to end. it's been rainy on and off again for a month and today marks the first day of sweater weather.

this kind of shift in seasons always makes me really nostalgic because it somehow reminds me of the first few days of school. being a kid and walking to school alone on leafy roads...

anyway, what this woffle was actually supposed to be about: fall and all that nostalgia always makes me crave a lot of Trip Hop. i mean, i'm always a sucker for 90s trip hop but something about this time of year especially makes me yearn for this weird, brainfoggy, dazed, out-of-there feeling that only trip hop can provide 🎶 i think trip hop always makes me feel that way because, for some reason, it's the soundtrack to my dreams (and if you know my bulletins, you know how weird my dreams can end up being lol)
