just be speaking and then realize a certain word sounds rlly weird and then realize all words sound weird and its really weird that we communicate by making noises at eachother. ITS SO WEIRD. like i cant even explain the feeling of realizing how weird it is.

also why do people have like no imagination when it comes to imagining other civilizations that wouldnt be human or earth-en or whatever. like they always think of things incredibly close to human / earth life when it just doesnt make sense logically speaking. why would other creatures who arent from earth or planets like earth would look and act like us, the things we consider normal, natural, and essential for "intelligent" life only came about for very specific reasons. for our very specific role in the animal kingdom. in our very specific enviornment that also only came about for very specific reasons !! there could be different species that perform different roles in their world but are still. advanced ? 

theres no guarentee that other. idk the word. intelligent species' (i dont like that term TOO bcus the definition of "intelligent species" is rlly dumb and changes a lot and doesnt even make sense. it's just "how close is this species to humans" instead of actually a measurment of their intelligence, EXACTLY WHAT IM RANTING ABOUT. even the term "advances species" can fall under this trap aswell.) would have things like hands, eyes, or any parts of a humaniod body. our body is actually rlly dumb evolution wise, like we have so many disadvantages from our dyfunctional bone structure to our bad vision. the only reason we were able to survive / evolve is bcus we're a pack species and physically cant survive without other humans. if we are isolated too much we literally get sick and die of sadness. like wolves and guinea pigs.

any species of any type could advance into a species like how ours is under the right circumstances, we're not even special our species is only like this because we were at the right place in the right time. they could walk on more or less than two legs, they could have wings, they could live on a world without things like water and plants or the need for them, they could be so inconcievable big that we we're like molecules compared to them or be so unbelievably small we need a microscope to see them, or they could not even be carbon based, they could not even have physical forms truly. like. theres so many possibilities yet peoples mind always go so close to human life. like we cant even imagine things outside of our own familiarity. even the birrin (which are a super cool fiction species, my favorite thing ever, i love their story) have very human-like evolution / culture and live on a very earth-like world.

ive yet to see hardly anyone actually. push further than what we know and make a world so unlike earth and species so unlike humans its unrecognizable or inconcievable. i think discover my body is a great example though !! yames just makes amazing games in general. they're very talented. technically speaking lovecraft is also a good example of this. but it makes me sad that the few examples of this that ive neem able to find are comic horror, it makes me so so so sad that the things i find super cool and awesome and interesting are seen as scary bcus our brains associate unfamiliarity with fear. 

i want to see an unrecognizable reality without the horror. and not like a subversion of horror (like those romance games where you date the nightmare eldrich creatures. creature in the corner, monster prom, and sucker for love. though those r great, i love those games.) i mean like how subnautica is, treating them like actual worlds that actually exist instead of just scary ideas that keep you up at night. getting to live in and see the world for what it is. that would be the story of all time. i would never stop talking about it if i found smth like that.

also !! i see the very same thing often perpetuated with multiverse stories, you have evem MORE creative freedom when creating worlds that don't have to obey the laws of our reality yet you can only think of the most small changes. "OMG, if the multiverse existed... theres a world where like. the sky and ocean are red and grass is blue." yes, yes. so true. but please. PLEASEEEE. be more creative. I BEG OF YOUUU.
