i am completely dumbfounded by space and the concept of infinity, like nothing is infinite, everything has an end, atleast physical areas and spaces, as far as im aware, but at the same time, there's no way it isn't infitinite. maybe this is just me struggling to comprehend the concept of something so infinitely large
i dunno maybe this just sounds rlly stupid & im missing smth LMAO

Space is always expanding, or so I heard.
When dropping a Stone in Water, it creates a small hole that expands in the water for a few ms, however after that it closes back down and returns to its original form. The clear water.
What if the Universe works on a similar basis? What if it is just expanding right now and will collapse later on. And couldn't it already be collapsing back to its original form as we speak? OR am I just a dude on the Internet that has no clue what he's talking about?
good point, cause i feel like if its always expanding, theres gotta be a point where it just like,, cant anymore?? but even so, like what would be beyound that yk? but like if space were to not be infinite, would it stop with a sort of vortex or "wall" of sorts? and even then whats behind that?
