How young were you when you got a phone? Kids usually get phones when their 13 but you sound like you've had a phone for a long time?
Also I totally agree, kids don't need phones, like what else are they going to do but play games on it and get on social media they shouldn't have y'know? Where they could get preyed on? They do not NEED phones fr. It gets them addicted, and chronically online with not many if any at all friends in real life.
sadly i got a phone when i was 6 years old(my parents gave me, i didnt asked)
