I found this super interesting as when I first watched ‘let’s get dangerous’ I was confused at why this universes Negaduck was never in it nor was any Negaduck despite him being a main villain in Darkwing. They probably cut this whole thing for continuity or time which makes sense I mean it would probably be confusing- my best guess at what could’ve happened is that Jim Starling was always Negaduck and had accidentally come to the ducktales universe from the negaverse and with the universe ray thing (I’m not bothered enough to find out the name lol) he was trying to get back to the negaverse and then at the end he would be transferred back after the other villains in a action sequence therefore stopping the threat that became present in the duck knight returns. Without this the ending of that episode is confusing as we’re to guess that Negaduck just lives in the sewers of the ducktales 2017 universe for the rest of forever so it makes a lot more sense if he was a maim villian in lets get dangerous. The thing is those 2 episodes already have SO MUCH going on in them that at least on a first watch that'd be hard to latch onto and seemingly pointless from a story perspective on those 2 eps alone. Plus if you watched it on cable and didnt see the duck night returns it wouldn't make any sense.
