As an artist I pride myself on writing all of my lyrics. We now live in a world where as long as artist looks good and the music sounds good, "we" don't care! Personally I think its disrespectful to the craft to not write your own lyrics. However enough of my opinions, here's a 1-step guide to having a ghostwriter and getting away with it!
BECOME A SINGER! … yeah I said it! become a singer because the talent for a singer isn't their writing ability, its their voice. As far as rappers go their talent is either freestyling or writing their lyrics! I also cant forget the "Rhymers" you know the ones who don't believe in cohesion or staying on topic, just spitting words that rhyme... "I'm too cool, I go to school, dive in pools and use tools" lmaooo this sh*t be hilarious and sad especially for a girl like me who loves and appreciates when everything works together. The beat, hook, verses and even the video all makes sense! Nowadays the song is titled "Work" and the lyrics are about the latest fashions and how ppl scam. The video will have high budgets and huge productions and the setting is outside in a back alley.. umm remind me again who "works" here tf! The industry has turned into a full fledged circus and the clowns have overthrown the ringmaster.
BRING BACK REAL HIP HOP. REAL WRITERS. REAL ARTISTS WHO DO IT CAUSE THEY'RE PASSIONATE AND SENSITIVE ABOUT THEIR SH*T!!!
