How to free yourself from a bad day...

This might not be helpful to all, but I was having a bad day today and wrote this for myself. I figured someone else might find it helpful <3

Step One: 

Take the time you need to refresh. Will most likely be a few hours of watching youtube or scrolling on your phone. Don’t try to fix things while running on empty. 


Step Two:

Clean your room. Making your environment clear can help your head become clearer. Here’s the order that is best for me…

  • Clean clothes 

  • Put any dirty clothes in washing basket 

  • Make bed 

  • Put any dishes by the door to wash up at the end

  • Clean shelves

  • Change bin

  • Vacuum 


Step Three: 

Exercise. Sounds annoying before it’s done but never fails to help me. If you’ve just eaten I suggest walking, but otherwise running releases lots of endorphins. 


Step Four:

Shower/ have a relaxing bath. The majority of the time I prefer showers, but making a bath all cosy is fun. During the bath feel free to read, listen to music, go on your phone, watch youtube, etc. 


Step Five: 

Hobbies!!! I enjoy playing Nintendo games, practising embroidery, making music, making mood boards, etc. Anything that is positive is good to help save a bad day. 


Step Six:

Eat something yummy. Whether it’s your favourite drink, or a meal that you’ve just learned to cook, spend your time enjoying it, you deserve to. <3
