Feeling Nostalgic

I remember back when Facebook first became a thing and it took me a long time to get one. I preferred MySpace and the customization of it and how it felt like a place where I could express my self through art and customization. Facebook was too personal for me.  It certainly has its place and being able to keep in touch with family, especially across distances, but I constantly found myself missing the MySpace era.... AIM messenger - complete with buddy profile for customization. Live Journal - which is actually still going and I've been able to find and access my old account and reading entries from 20+ years ago has a way of really looking at how far I've come and how much I've grown. Neopets - which of course I rejoined as well... and then when I came across spacehey I got super excited! It'll be a while I think before it fully reaches everyone who misses my space, but hopefully spacehey just continues to grow and grow because I'm super excited for it! I hated suggested friends on fb because it's too personal. But I loved in MySpace how you could find new friends based on interests and hobbies and things like that so spend more time doing that on here!
