ㅤㅤㅤi've been so busy lately, that i almost never had time for myself and my thoughts. late august is a hard time for people living in a village. for example, we had our third honey harvest, and i think this one was the best, because it came from something we call "raznotrav'e" - gathering of different sweet and bitter flowers and herbs. my grandfather has severe honey allergy, so i had this golden-brown majesty to myself - it's nice with warm milk and a slice of homemade bread. yum!
ㅤㅤㅤon the other hand, we now have to harvest august crops, make pickles, and plant new plants for the winter in our 3 greenhouses. i also had some time to plant kale and pak choi, and did it by hand, so my nails are damaged again. i had to cut two of them almost to the base! what a shame.
ㅤㅤㅤi keep making little notes on what to write about, but i do it so it's unclear and lengthy that I can't always guess what it's about. what does "green gooseberry silk" mean? i don't really know. i guess we'll never know! but now i remember that we have a problem with hornets! we have a two-story house with a large basement, and they have a nest somewhere under the tin of our roof. and every time i turn on the light, they are trying to get into my room through the screen door (and often succeed, ugh). this week, i killed about 8 of them, though i'm really scared of those nasty creatures. on the bright side - the weather is getting colder, and i don't need to open my window to sleep normally anymore.
ㅤㅤㅤtoday we were at the lake... i think it's the best event of the whole week. we took a boat and had a nice ride along the shore of the entire lake: i I rowed for half of our adventure and did a pretty good job, as my grandfather said. he was a sailor for some time in his life, and hearing those cheering words was a nice change. the weather was cloudy, but the sun peeked out here and there, so it was still pretty warm. we also drifted for some time and drank tea: i took several photos on my new camera, and it turns out i suck at taking photos in general. I kept the most decent ones and uploaded them to my cloud. if i think about it for too long, i feel bad for my poor skills, but on the other hand, was there someone to teach me? nope. so i'll figure everything out by myself eventually.
here are some of normal ones, that captured what i saw.
really concerned, but not giving up,ㅤㅤㅤ

i love how water changes colors from photo to photo. it's really clean and you can see almost to the bottom of it with reaaally long algaes. if i had a chance i'd take a photo of them too, but i was too scared to not to drop my camera into the water, so i didn't do it ( ◡̀_◡́)ᕤ
