back in the day i never was much of a myspace kid, i remember fooling around with css but really didn't get into social networking until facebook came around. most of my friends didn't have myspace either, most of them preferring the not-as-iconic hi5 like the philistines they were. they really weren't my friends either, come to think of it. they were more like the people at school that used to bully me into the socially awkward mess i became. same reason i was also not a dope emo scenester cool kid, but enough about that.

anyways, i'm kind of sick of this modern day dystopian alternate future where instagram and twitter rule the world, where your personal information is sold to companies for ad revenue, where everyone's become a stupid tiktoker and followers and likes determine your worth. i am tired of this world, these people. i am tired of being caught in the tangle of their lives. i long for the days before they let all the morons in on the internet. that's the reason i'm here.

i really don't care anymore about any of that, and if this gives me greater peace of mind, then sooner or later i'll delete all those other profiles. let's see how it goes.
