Report Blog Entry
So, yeah, totally using potato pictures to show this off! lol
Step 1 is to find a image uploading host of your choosing. I prefer imgur!
Step 2 is to upload your image from your computer or phone.
Step 3 is to hit the open button and it will automatically upload. If you want to upload more than one picture at the same time, hold down the CTRL button and click each picture you want to upload at the same time. (To Note: Imgur allows this, I am not sure if any other site will let you mass upload photos at the same time!)
Step 4 Once uploaded, you need to get the image url by right clicking on the image, or if you are using a chromebook with an android OS, hold down the 'alt' button and click on the image.
Step 5 Click on 'Copy Image Address'
Step 6 Once you have the address copied, head on over to SpaceHey to create your bulletin!
Step 7 Click on the 'insert image' icon
Step 8 A pop up will show up and this is where you will paste your copied address!
Step 9 double click on the 'http://" so it is highlighted in blue and then hit ctrl+v at the same time to paste your copied address (or right click on the highlighted letters and select paste).
Step 10 Enter in any other info in the lines provided and if you want to resize your image, enter those dimensions. (To note: For these images in this bulletin, I used 300x300 as my images were originally 2048X2048 - way too large for a bulletin)
Step 11 Click on "Insert Image" button and your image should show up in the bulletin content box!
Step 12 Keep repeating steps 6-11 to add all your photos!
I hope this helps! And lord I hope this comes out right! This took a long time to make lol!

Guys, if I delete the photos on the site that I uploaded, it also deletes them on spacehey

I think the site is broken. The images on your post won't show up and neither will the images on my own blogs. They're all there when I go to the edit page but it's blank when I post it.
If the images are hosted via imgur, IMGUR isn't working on spacehey currently. They work everywhere else on other sites so it isn't IMGUR!

My iamges are hosted via IMGUR and IMGUR isn't working on this site. It isn't IMGUR though as my images show up on other sites. So I think Spacehey is the reason they aren't working. And with packing up and searching for a house, I just don't have the time to re-do this tutorial.

This didn't work for me :( I don't even get an option to change size. Just link and description. It doesn't show the link.
Yeah, it is much more simplified now then when I originally posted this. Now, you just enter the copied url into the url box and a description if you wish to have one, but it isn't necessary. Spacehey auto resizes the image to fit the bulletin. So you no longer have to worry about resizing the image! Steps 1-7 are the same though

I am not aware of an update. I have posted bulletins with images successfully. So I am not sure exactly what the issue is!

I ran into a similar issue, but found that it depends on the link you use. Make sure the image link ends with whatever the image file type is (such as .png, .jpeg, etc).

It may be my slow wifi or the fact that I use Spacehey on mobile...but when I tap on the little image icon (on posts) nothing happens.
Try using a different browser like Puffin (I know it is a safe browser) or Opera. It may just be the browser not loading the images.

hey uhhhh so i followed the instructions but when i post it theres no image on the actual post,,,,, what do i do?
make sure the url ends in .png or .gif or .jpeg etc, if it ends in anything else, an image will not appear.

so when i try to add an image, it wont let me add the original width and height no matter what i do. and i dont know if it's because of tht but the image doesnt show up when im making the post or after it's posted. instead it comes up with a tiny image icon and the image description next to it. can you help me out?

I am not sure why. I always resize my image to 500px and leave the second block empty as it will automatically size to keep dimensions.
