About Me & Music Recs (In full!)

Hi!! I'm Alden!

I'm new to this website, and about to turn 20! I've always been super into using more retro things, so having a cool little website remake of MySpace is so so so awesome ! My main vibe is my father in the early 2000s ^^;

I love Parquet Courts an almost unhealthy amount, I cannot recommend Human Performance (Berlin Got Blurry & Pathos Prairie are my two favourite tracks) or Wide Awake! (Tenderness is the best song in my objectively correct opinion) by them enough. If you've got any music with a lot of funky bass I'd love to hear it! I also adore Thundercat vibes (the obvious TC songs come to mind hahaha) and a song called ZaZa and some Runtz (Smoke Break) by Terry Presume (though I haven't listened to enough of his work to fully recommend anything outside of that one song.)

I also love the Strokes ! I'm partial to The New Abnormal as that's the first album I've ever heard of theirs, but Is This It has taken my love (New York City Cops my beloved). 

I'm located in The Netherlands for university, if anyone in that area is cool enough to meet a random stranger on the internet hahahaha. I love collecting vintage clothes (think "stealing my grandmother's blazers when she's not looking), cassettes, vinyls, and posters :3. I'm studying Life Sciences and Technology, which also means I'm pretty big on science stuff. I think it's so cool!! 

I want to start posing some art (both literature and otherwise), and if you'd like to see it, I've made a Tumblr !! It's in my links (though as off right now, 20.08.2023, it's brand new and empty hahaha)
