LAST WEEK OF SUMMER... (wow venus rambles about school again... shocker)

Guys... The last week of summer is upon me. 

I've honestly had one of the greatest summers of my life. I went from being like. Cabin fever every year basically being locked in a stuffy ass house to hanging out with friends like twice a week. WHICH IS LESS THAN A LOT OF PEOPLE BUT STILL A BIG DEAL. Tbh this summer kinda felt like 3 years in a good way. I don't think I've ever felt this refreshed about going back to school like,,, ever. 

Which leads me to... Senior year. Scary ass fuckin thought. But for the most part I'm coming into it pretty excited. While I base my life pretty heavily around academics, I'm not going to apply for any colleges this year. At the very least, I'm taking a gap year. But honestly as time has gone by, I'm not exactly sure if college is even a good idea. I'm not gonna get into things but tldr: low income family + animation major isn't a very good mix. Especially since with a lot of admission portfolios already being industry quality. 

But in the here and now of things, I'm pretty excited for my next year. I'm taking AP art history, which I had to word equivalent of fistfight my counselor to take online, as my school doesn't teach it physically. Plus I have it first period, which is LOVELY cuz that means I get to chill in the library and not be thrust into a loudass classroom first thing in the morning. 

I'm also taking AP drawing and english literature, along with the rest of my required credits. I wouldn't say my classes are incredibly interesting, but I CRAMMED my schedule last year and definitely paid for it. Plus I think the stress of 3 APs is 100% gonna weigh my ass down again. 

 but thats whhere I am rn. Honestly, great period in my life 10/10 would 100% reccomend being in my shoes rn.
