First entry, excited about spacehey!

Hello people!

I've quite often been drawn towards having your own blog... A proper old school one- now here I am! I found Spacehey from a tumblr post that talked about how much they wanted to preserve the old web and it resonated with me. Among other sites (like neocities and melon land, which are a bit beyond me at the moment xd) spacehey was mentioned and already I'm seeing so many cool people...

I haven't found a layout I love completely at the moment but I'm sticking with this lovely one for the moment made by Bela 🔊⬆ The colours are yummy lolol

So... What am I here for?

Exploration! Self-expression! Internet freedom! I have a big distaste for google, meta, twitter, all that jazz. I hate that it's the standard for data to be stolen and that social media companies purposefully push argument-sparking things into peoples feeds because an argument will keep you on longer than a pleasant conversation. I think the internet should be used for education, helping people out, having fun and emotional vulnerability before it should be used for spreading hate. I don't have any issues with that sounding childish. Being mature doesn't equate to being a prick.

Anyway! It's lovely to meet you all, I think I'm going to enjoy it here...
