Something's wrong here

Wow, I love it when a site that's supposed to be a nostalgic social network gets saturated with parody and spam accounts!!!

EDIT: False alarm. The majority of these were just unlabelled parody accounts, and the owner is now labelling them as such in order to comply with SpaceHey's guidelines regarding impersonation.

It seems like new accounts are progressing far past things like "roleplay accounts", now there are actual fake accounts being made for internet celebrities, popular figures and people of great importance.

I'm all for parody - when it's used responsibly and not to hurt or endanger the people you're parodying, and I get the feeling that's NOT what's going on here.

I'm starting to get the feeling this is going to become a Google+ situation, where people will masquerade as people of influence and ask those less knowledgable to do horrible things in return for "friendship" or "free content"- and this worries me.

If you see someone on here, like a YouTuber or influencer try to message you or friend request you, I would seriously consider treading with caution - they're most likely a fraud with darker intentions.
