feeling so insanely yuck today

i've been up the past few nights riddled with nightmares about violent floods and the raging fires here a province over. my childhood home is burning and the onslaught of videos i've seen of it is not helping me in the slightest

yesterday my roommate's beloved cat had been taken to the vet to stay overnight. he had accidentally gotten into some lilies outdoors... his kidneys aren't looking good. im distraught. i couldn't stop crying this morning. im rallying for him to pull through, i love that little guy to pieces even if he is a bit of an asshole sometimes. haha
