Daily film rec #5: Prisoners

Synopsis: When Keller Dover’s daughter and her friend go missing, he takes matters into his own hands as the police pursue multiple leads and the pressure mounts. But just how far will this desperate father go to protect his family?

Review (no spoil): This is one of the most intense and stressful watch I had in a while. I loved it. I watched it a few days ago and I can tell you you'll be sitting on the edge of your chair for a good time of this film. This film is not terrifying in the way horror movies are, but simply by the events portrayed that are absolute hell for the characters. The actors are really perfect in their role and their performance is incredible and the emotions feel sincere. I can't recommend it enough, this film is breathtaking and Denis Villeneuve is a true master of modern filmaking.

Why you should watch it: How far would you go to save the ones you love ? In this film you will see how horrible can humans be in this really dark and pessimistic crime film. If you like hopeless thrillers with amazing plot twists, actors (ily Paul Dano) and photography like me, watch it !!
