hi!! i was wondering if anyone had any book recommendations 4 me? for reference, my favorite books are frankenstein (a classic!!!), and the crow by edgar allan poe (i love this poem sm)
i'm also very interested in nihilism (i have a nietzsche book), stoicism, and some carl sagan stuff.

I'd recommend Alone by Beverly Farmer because it's old and haunting, although I'm not sure how easy it is to find. The book and author are both Australian, it was published in the 1980s, and I only know about it because I found a first edition for $8 in a second hand book shop in Sydney. I'll also warn you it deals with things like suicide, SA, and internalized homophobia. (There's also some racism but it's not plot relevant).

The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is a good classic gothic book! It has themes of self identity and good vs. evil.
tysm for the recommendation!! its been on my read list for a while since one of my friends is kinda obsessing over it rn :P
