Urban Hike

4 hour day-hike in the hottest sun we've had all year, across two cities

I need to not only own boots

Living just outside downtown in the PNW is a weird place

If I want to get somewhere there's almost always a bus that'll link me there within walking distance ; but if I want to go on a *long* walk for exercise or to look mountains and touch grass for a while then the best I can do is hills of concrete for several hours - it makes me think about Mirror's Edge and other All-One-Massive-City themed scifi

I still get to look at mountains but even if I do a full day of trekking the best I can do is getting to the border of Urban and into the Next, Slightly Smaller City Over

Extremely lucky there's still so much green
