i was trying to help raine make a nnd post (it deleted the entire post at one point and also kept getting distracted by fanart and google searches ((raine you dork)))

anyway enought abt RAINE this is about nnd!1!1!1!

gonna go do my little headcannons/thoughts by volume because i think thats fun

all i have to say here is i dont think ruby really saw penny as like an actual friend until they had that talk while looking for blake ((and penny had that one oddly transphobic line penny no why)) idk to me i think ruby probably didnt expect to see her again after they first met.

not only is that look like gay as hell but also i think it jusy makes sense! right before this penny reveals some incredibly personal info abt herself and ruby not only accepts her completely, but penny gives her a BIG OL HUGGGG AND AAA EEEEE AAAAA!!!!

okay ignoring. what happens this season. i think somewhere before the tournament i think part of the reason penny was exicted to fight pyrrha was because ruby had told her what a good fighter she was, and that ruby was also how she found out that pyrrha was like a big shot in the first place! 

ok as for post the fight (i cant bring myself to actualy rewatch ruby in terrible excruciating amounts of pain so this could be completely impossible) but i think ruby had to be like dragged away from the scene because she was hoping there was some way she could help or at least see her again :C.

all i gotta say is ruby was so thinking about penny whenever things were tough and that she had to keep going for her bestest friend ever (((and try not to regret the fact she never told her how she really felt what who said that omg whatt)))

i think penny had fallen for ruby by now. she probably ranted to her dad like crazy, to which her dad was probably like “penny have you heard of LOVE?2!2?2?2?” 

before that like voting party thingy i think penny overthought the fact that she was going to a party with ruby and tried to like pretty herself up because she was scared she wouldnt be prepared for a suprise date with someone who meant the world to her

i think human penny was like super warm like ruby and penny were trying to be all cute and hold hands and penny had to keep being like “sorry ruby! my hand seems to be oddly warm at the moment!” something i think about a lot is just penny trying to be like “my sensors indicate that the best path is…wait a minute” like i think itd be funny watching her just forgetting that she is in fact. a human. 

if team rwby hadnt have fallen into the ever after i think penny wouldnt have sacrificed herself because sHES GOT FRIENDSSS SHES FIGHTINGGG FORRRRRR(((FIGHTIN FOO-OORRRR)) im sorry i had to refrence friend at some point. ALSO penny definitely would have also given ruby her maiden powers if she knew she was alive ik it!(rip winter oopsies)

i have like a lot of thoughts just for volume nine alone(mostly because you know its the most recent one ive watched) so im going to make that a post within its own
