I miss web 1.0.

I got tumblr's new gross ass update for their desktop version today where they're trying to copy TWITTER and I hate it. It's ugly, it's clunky, no one wanted it. I'm so close to deleting Tumblr, TikTok, and Twitter and just using only YouTube and SpaceHey now. Modern social media is being ruined and it's trash. I miss web 1.0 and the Internet in the early 2010s when I was just starting to get a feel for the amazing wild West the internet used to be. I don't feel like I have a place to call home on the Internet anymore. And only one of my friends understands where I'm coming from. I'm just... Frustrated. I'm tired of being called old or whatever just because I preferred the Internet before capitalism and modern web took over and made everything extremely centralized and harder to find friends on and harder to customize things fully and just... Made everything go to shit... I miss old web. Bring back my flash games and forums and old virtual worlds and let me keep my little corner of the internet I had claimed and felt comfortable in.
