learning about malala yousafzai at school

since school started again, in english we’ve been reading “i am malala” and looking at articles about her and stuff. we ended on the part where she’s shot. dude. what?? she obviously survives because the book continues and i get that it was very important to add but my heart still sank so fast, especially because i know if atal didn’t get off, he would’ve watched his sister be shot in the head. i can’t stop thinking about it.
