My experience with a pet betta fish. 16/08/2023

I have two betta fish, Tobias and Toby, they are both male, I remember when I bought Tobias,  i thought Tobias was female for his shape so i bought a male, in that time i thought "OHHH YES I´M GONNA PUT THE FISH WITH TOBIAS AND THEN THEY GONNA HAVE BABYS AND MAKE A HAPPY BETTA FAMILY" well...Wen i put Toby (the new betta i bought) with Tobias in the fishbowl i saw strange things...Toby began  acted really rude he started followTobias all the time, he tried to bite him but Tobias just ran away from Toby, he hid behind a plastic plant until Toby found him and bit him. When i saw both fought i felt very scary because Tobias didn´t defend himself so i took the separator each one has a part in the fishbowl. After that brutal fight i learned something TOBIAS IS MALE, i knew that when two male bettas are toghether they fight because bettas male are very territorial but didn´t know that Tobias was really a male, i´m surprise that Tobias is really big and Toby is small and Tobias doesn´t know defend himself, it´s sounds funny he is a big betta fish but inside he is a sweet and relax fish that likes swims. That was my experience with Betta fishes if you want to have two betta fishes toguether please ask first the gender before buy it, two males can´t be toguther in the same fishbowl if you want to, you have to buy a separator, two females can be toguether, females are pacific and relaxes, thanks for read bye ^_^.
