First Post plus CD talk

This is my first official blog entry. Which is a little ironic because I made my account back in 2021 and all of my current SpaceHey friends have been logged out for like a year. But I wanted to make a little blog thingy because it seemed like fun.

Currently, school is quite literally one day away. I have no idea what I’m going to wear but I frankly don’t care that much about it. What I’m really looking forward to is the CDs that I ordered that are coming in around Saturday (today is Tuesday.)

I ordered both Kid A and In Rainbows; Kid A being one of my favorite albums of all time AND my favorite radiohead album. I started my CD collection only a week ago. Currently I have two Jimi Hendrix CD’s, The Police - Regatta De Blanc, and REM - document (all from thrift and vintage stores) and Stone Temple Pilots - Purple found at the mall.

The funny thing about my CD players is that I originally tried just using my mom’s, but when I tried using it the audio didn’t come through the koss headphones I was using. My parents thought that since it was so old, that was the reason why it didn’t work. We bought a new one and it came 2 days later. However, as I unpacked my new CD player I realized that I couldn’t hear from my headphones STILL. I looked down and realized … I was just on mute mode. My mom’s old CD player still worked, it was just my headphones being annoying. The realization costed a crossbow :( (no, literally, we sold a crossbow to get the CD player) but I think it’s alright because the new player has Bluetooth and actual speakers. wooo!
