Lets touch on Rule #5 Harmful Content.

I want to touch on this subject again for a moment and this will be a bit more personal instead of Mod Mode as I will call it. When I'm handling reports I'm in Mod Mode, I can not let my personal feelings or beliefs determine my decisions.

Safety

You are not allowed to display, share or promote any form of

1. Violence
2. Abuse
3. Harassment
4. Hateful speech
5. Harmful content (including self-harm and suicidal content)
6. Illegal/unlawful content

I want those who really are asking for help to be taken serious. So if we allow anyone to make these comments the amount of joking remarks would drown out those who really need help. No one would really know who means what. 

Suicide baiting is also an issue, sometimes there will be something said that is a giveaway that the situation is just a bait. Calling out the issue wouldn't help the situation though. So all post insinuating self harm or telling others to commit harm will be taken serious. 


If you are telling others to "kys" (no matter how you word it) because you don't agree, they broke a different rule, they were accused of something or as a joke... it is a rule break.

If you had a bad day and you make a comment once about yourself... that is a rule break, but i will reach out and ask you to remove it in return of not having to ban you.

If you post numerous times about committing self harm... that is a rule break.

The topic is allowed in discussion, but if the topic is promoting the act of harm... it is a rule break.


Trigger warnings do not cancel out the fact that it falls under rule #5.
