this horror/thriller comic created by Tiziano Salvi is a cult of Italian comics.

Published since 1986 and still in progress, one of the most famous and sold comics in Italy.

The protagonist of the comic is Dylan Dog "the nightmare detective" a former Scotland Yard agent, detoxified alcoholic, vegetarian and animal rights activist. The series is mainly set in London, where the protagonist lives, though he occasionally travels elsewhere.

a character with a mysterious past wrapped in a dreamlike and surreal dimension, he takes charge of unusual cases in the paranormal as a detective.

he is attracted by the unknown but at the same time he is afraid of it, he isn't invincible but he doesn't reject the unknown instead he tries to understand it, especially when the mystery and the horror are hidden in the depths of the unconscious.

the appearance of the protagonist is inspired by the British actor Rupert Everett.

I started reading this comic years ago because it intrigued me even it wasn't my genre, my uncle had started collecting some volumes over time and I want to continue collecting them.

this in the pic is my favorite volume, it is one of the old volumes above it there is still the old italian currency (the Italian lira)
