depends on what music people are considering goth, bands like deftones and evanesnence are not goth. Bands like Sisters of mercy, Bauhaus, The cure, Boy harsher, twin tribes I could list more are goth so yeah im not sure if that is what you meant just wanted to help
I do mean bands that are goth by the book you know not deftones or just all alt music. tysm for responding <3

I would just ignore the people who are calling people "tiktok goth" or "not goth" as long as they listen to the music their goth
