important post

i'm not using my usual typing style for this post.

i didn't know alissa, but i know what it's like to be harassed with death threats. it's a horrible thing to experience and no one deserves it. no matter what someone does, they don't deserve it. alissa didn't even do a thing wrong. it was unwarranted.

my heart goes out to alissa, her family, and anyone who was close to her. suicide is horrible, it takes people before it's their time to go. losing a loved one is heart wrenching, and people dying in general is upsetting, even if you didn't know them. this is such a horrible thing that's happened.

to her friends, it is not your fault. i know you might be blaming yourself, i blamed myself when i lost my friend to suicide too. i felt i didn't do enough to help them, i could have done more. i know there's someone thinking like this now about her. you did enough, i promise. you did what you could to help her, and i'm so proud of you for that. you did good. with the internet, there's very little we could have done unless we had her address to get a wellness check on her. you did what you could. you are not at fault.

rest in peace alissa. we'll never forget you. thank you for existing. ♡ 

update: she's alive + in the hospital. get well soon alissa we all love u
