Just report shit. Just report shit. We may only have three mods but they actually do their job sooner or later so if you see something? Just report it! Maybe make a bulletin or two warning ppl about it, just that but DONT FUCKING SPAM ACCOUNTS šššĀ
This whole āgore warā thing was a wreck from start to finish. Started with ppl spamming cats in retaliation, ended with whats essentially porn vs gore. Just report shit. The situation wouldāve ended so much sooner if ppl had just stuck to the report lists.
Itās all gone and itās all sorted but still. This aināt Twitter and this aināt tiktok. The moderation team might be small and they may take a while to take action but they will. Just report shit and move on. No need to escalate the situation further
Also if you got beef with someone? Block!! Someoneās done something genuinely fucked up? THEN Report and make a bulletin abt it!! But stop with the call outs on like- āx supports y thingā bc itās pointless here. Block them, Ā and if they actually do anything against the rules then take action. Discourse is pointless here please omg šš all it takes for you to not be exposed to their shiz is just pressing a button so do it!!!Ā
Spacehey is supposed to be a place to chill. So relax and keep urself levelheaded. Block, report. Thatās all the action you need to take.Ā

Honestly, the one thing I'll give Spacehey is that their callout blogs seem to be solely reserved for actually dangerous people, and not stupid stuff like "their mutual's mutual liked this kind of weird anime fanart for a show they don't watch!"
(hyperbole but it is practically that. I'm glad I haven't seen any pointless callouts on here yet, as opposed to Twitter where every callout is either "OMG who cares" or "You should be taking this to the actual authorities")
I really don't think users understand the concept of leaving certain things on certain sites - or that different sites may have different posting etiquette.. stuff that's commonplace on Twitter or TikTok like self-censoring (ex. saying "unalived" instead of "killed" or randomly typing TWs in full on leetspeak) makes you sound ridiculous on here.
And blocking! People are SO adverse to blocking nowadays! It's ridiculous! They refuse to block anyone because it's mean or whatever (it's not, I think people have formed some sort of complex around it) but also expect every random internet user to both read their mile-long DNI that's put in an unreadable text color and actually heed it. It's sillyyyy...
Yeah! Iāll give it that most callouts here are actually worth being called out but Iāve seen my fair share of dumb petty ones too- just wish ppl would realize that Spacehey aināt some algorithmic bizilionare wasteland like mainstream socials- mods here actually do something, and you donāt have to jump through loopholes to avoid automated censorship (because there isnāt any).
In Spacehey youāre free of all that! Drama doesnāt have to escalate unless you let it- just block freely and report any creeps. Thatās all you need to survive on Spacehey. I just wish ppl would realize that lmao
