Empty Red Room (Painting)

So, as I promised, I'll post my art here. This is the first one. I'll keep these blogs in this style, describing the painting a bit, and at the end talk about the meaning and whatever else, so you don't have to read it.

This is the Empty Red Room. I wanted to paint a scenario, so I entered this site and got a random place with urban and inside as filters. It's my first time painting a realistic scenario, I'm happy with it.

As I mentioned, I picked this at random, I was happy with what the site gave me, and didn't give it much thought, but as I kept putting more effort on it, I felt it significant to me. I haven't drawn in a year, I used to draw every day when I was younger, it always helped me express my feelings and channel my sadness into something, so stopping to do so made me real upset, I just didn't have the energy to do it, I was focused on graduating and looking for work so much, that I lost the habit. But now I'm back at it, and this room, it shows me how I sometimes feel, like I don't belong there, can see the outside, the light, the good part, but I'm stuck in this place where I don't feel like home, with the walls screaming at me that have to stay there, that the door won't open. So yeah, I tried to dump that on the process, I didn't change the original much, because it speaks for me.
