[R] Super Mario Bros. 3 Masturbatory Madness - A Grand Day Out

Coming into this one, I had absolutely no expectations. Oftentimes in cinema, entering with an open mind yields the best results. In this particular case, expectations might have prevented me from witnessing a glimpse into the world of yesteryear. This was a product of it's time, a period piece about the period it was created in. This is everything that once was, and has been forgotten, left in the dust, destroyed in the endless pursuit of content. Ideas such as this one can no longer flourish, and you could argue even at the time it never had a chance to succeed, but it did anyways. It lives on in the hearts of many, and one of the bearers of said memories decided to impart their burden onto the world recently. I discovered this for the first time and pined for the days of the pioneers, where everything was a new discovery.
