Had to factory reset my laptop last night

Title pretty much explains itself. I tried everything I could to get it working and booting up again but it just wouldn't work.

The whole story of how it happened is pretty long so I'll bore you all the details

I was working on another JummBox cover yesterday afternoon. Nothing much. Then my headphones suddenly disconnected and then reconnected? The system got laggy and out of nowhere gave me a bluescreen that was so fast I couldn't catch the error code it gave me. I tried running diagnostics, restoring to a previous state, resetting without removing files... but nothing worked! :(

When trying to restore my system back to a previous date it gave me another bluescreen, but that time I managed to catch it

"WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR"... I googled it and it gave me some information about the error code. Could have been related to hardware or overclocking. I checked the disk in command prompt and said it had errors but I was still (stupidly) skeptical T_T

After that I ran the UEFI settings to see if I could reset the settings for it because that was one of the things recommended for fixing it and for some reason no option was there? I looked up stuff like "How to reset BIOs for asus", "how to reset uefi", all that jazz. It showed me a tutorial how to manually reset the bios... which required ripping this thing open and clicking a button on the motherboard. I didn't have the tools nor the patience to be bothered with that (and was also pretty sure it would not work), so I just factory reset it hoping for the best. It's working perfectly fine now, thank god!

Anyway, that was definitely a bit of a scare, but not too much of value was lost. The only thing I'm really upset about losing is that amv I was working on, but I can restart it and hopefully it'll be better this time! :P
