hello!!! it's me!!! (an intro post :D)

a lil nervous to post my first blog (and do this intro) for some reason eeee but i'll stop rambling and get into it D:

my name is benji! i also go by a bunch of other names but let's let that be a silly lil game. see how many you can find when i share things XD

my pronouns are he/they/she, i'm aroace agender, and fuckin' love men (though my sexuality is p fluid and changes a ton LOL)

in terms of my interests, i think it's only fair to start off with my special interest: music! p much everything i do revolves around it and i cannot shut up about it or my favorite artists. my two all time favs are mcr and fob! i have an,,, unhealthy obsession with them to say the least. i'll bring them up whenever given the chance and honestly, i'm insufferable. but i digress... 

to no ones surprise, i also love to collect cds and records. (check out my discogs ---> https://www.discogs.com/user/goosenboots_) right now im focusing on getting the main albums of my favs but i wont exactly turn down buying more obscure or rare things if found for cheap by chance! my collecting addiction doesn't quite stop there though. i like to collect physical media in general like books, dvds, and video games. i don't take those too seriously though. outside of that i also collect funko pops and have enough plants and plushies to consider a collection as well :3

as for hobbies, i have a ton of those. my main hobby is definitely writing. i've been interested in it since i was 8 years old (and i'm 19 now!!!) and am actually pursuing a degree in creative writing. i used to be real easygoing with sharing my work but got more shy over the years. i dunno though,,, maybe i'll share some here too

as a creative person who's queerness convinces them they can do anything (/silly) i have a ton of side hobbies that come and go including drawing, painting, sewing, and other handiwork. right now i'm really into sewing and have been making patches, plushies, and even reworking some of my clothes! i might actually consider getting a sewing machine since i hand sew everything and it takes,,, a long time. we'll see though 

i didn't mention this before but i think i could consider going to concerts a hobby. i've been to a ton, 5 or 6 just this year so far!!!. i've also just started going to more alone and have been making friends in the scene. i'd love to start going to smaller shows as well as supporting local artists. it just seems like it could be such a fun thing, y'know? and smaller shows are cheaper meaning i could go to more and more often. which is awesome cause concerts make me so so happy X3

i'm not sure if there's anything else to say and this is quite long- ahhh im sorry about that. i guess i'll leave you all with some pics and uh, leave me some music to listen to! i'll leave you with some too :D
