got caught stealing

so today me and my friend went out and weve recently gotten interested in stealing things. So today we visited a store with all sorts of random stuff and we took some of our fav things and put it in our shopping bag and eventuallly we decided to put it in our own bagg after removing the bar code, hoping cameras wouldnt see us. well it went kinda wrong and we got pretty stressed, my heart was racing and i was abt to cry tbh. there were too many people around and a cam pointed at us. we just dropped our shopping bags which were half empty bc we were able to steal some of it. when we were leaving the store my friend realized she forgot her phone inside and ran back, right behind her was a bodyguard who chased her back into the store. she was able to leave the store without getting caught. honestly i feel bad for leaving her alone in there but it felt like i couldnt move bc of how scared i was. anyway we made it out safe but later when we were resting on a bench nearby we saw a bodyguard looking around and we got scared and left without him seeing us. i feel like the police can knock on my door any moment. i feel very bad about what hapenned but its not guilt. just sad i couldnt get everything.
