saw my schools debut production of Be More Chill this morning! i was sitting on the top floor of the theatre and made sure to get a good seat so i could see my little friends perform down below and it was AMAZING it was really great! i was really proud of them and to see the final product as id been hearing bits and pieces of what was in it and seeing them go to rehearsals all throughout the year. it also definitely rekindled my interest in being in next years musical too. my dream role is noel gruber from ride the cyclone. pretty camp, yes. here's hoping they choose that next year!
not only that but then i went home to watch the gentlemen (2019) by guy ritchie and it was actually really fucking good. in the first few minutes i realised i had actually probably watched it in the cinemas when it came out because i remembered some parts but i might've gone to sleep or something and missed the rest. what i DEFINITELY missed was jeremy strong with his slight gay drawl and campy outfits which was undoubtedly my highlight of the whole film. and hugh grant being a flirtatious piece of shit. thats it - i only remember those two.
and then i watched the power of the dog (2021) by jane campion, but ive already talked about it enough. god help me i fucking LOVE THAT MOVIE I LOVE IT I LOVE IOTÂ
