Hello world

I finally finished setting up my blog's homepage. I've only ever worked in R coding for statistics so it was a bit tough figuring out how to edit the html code to work how I wanted it to. Shoutout to wesley (https://layouts.spacehey.com/layout?id=34279) for making the jellyfish layout that I modified to fit my blog's theme! Still, since I had almost no experience, it took me about 3 hours to get it modified to my liking. 

Anyways, since this is my first blog post, I should probably introduce myself :-] my name is fin (they/them/elle), and I'm a 21 year old university student from the united states. I'm starting this blog to meet new people, ramble about my interests, and learn about spacehey as a website/subculture base. I'm interested in lots of stuff, but mostly alternative music, media analysis, horror (especially horror fiction podcasts), design, and internet history. I also enjoy cooking, baking, sewing, and lots of other arts and crafts, so I might occasionally post some of my hobbies here.

This feels like sort of a long intro, so I guess I'll wrap it up. I'm looking forward to talking to more people and shouting into my corner of the digital void.
