what kind of medication is it for? some medications can be delivered with vanishpoint needles, they hurt less because they have a spring inside that pulls the needle straight out when the plunger hits the end. A lot of the pain comes from the needle scratching the tissue on the way out, our hands aren't great at moving in perfectly straight lines so there's always a little scratching when you have to pull back.
